Indianapolis: The Bobbs-Merrill Company Publishers, 1913. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. With many illustrations by George Desains and Charlotte Schaller. Near Fine in a Very Good jacket, unclipped, sticker over price on the spine, generally rubbed and soiled. Red boards, blind design on the front board, with gilt lettering on the spine and front board, some rubbing at the bottom edge. Square and firmly bound, clean internally. Mack's account of what she has "lived, absorbed, and observed in various residences in Paris at two or three year intervals, covering in all a period of fifteen years." A loving account of late-19th, early-20th century Paris, profusely illustrated with in-text drawings and complete with its original illustrated jacket.
