Faint cracks in surface of buckram at head and tail of spine; stains to some three or four margins; otherwise a nice copy in slightly chipped and frayed dust-wrapper. Hubin, p.417. Published in England by Faber in the same year as ‘Murdering Mr. Velfrage’. All books listed by Robert Temple are first editions unless otherwise stated.
