Clean black cloth boards with green metallic lettering, gold sailboat design on cover, gold lettering and decoration on spine. No fraying or bumping. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound - no cracking. Pages and edges are clean, with signature of author in blue pen on front free endpaper, stamped number 653 on front free endpaper and on copyright page. Tasteful previous owner bookplate on front pastedown. Beautifully illustrated with photographs in color and black and white, maps. 177 pages..
