New York: Britton Publishing Co, 1918. First Edition. Very good plus copy with only slight edge wear and minor offsetting to the endpapers in a chipped and worn dust jacket. Illustrated throuought with photographs of Fairbanks from his films as well as candid shots. A book in which Fairbanks emphasizes approaching life’s ‘golden years’ with enthusiasm & gusto. Douglas Fairbanks is a cinema icon whose lengthy body of acclaimed work includes starring roles in such classics as The Mark of Zorro, The Three Muskateers, Robin Hood, The Gaucho, The Iron Mask, and many more. Fairbanks was also married to ‘America’s Sweetheart’, the actress Mary Pickford, and was one of the founding members of United Artists film studio, along with Charlie Chaplin, Mary Pickford, and D.W. Griffith.
