About This Item
New York: A.S. Barnes and Company, 1898. 1st. Decorative Cloth. Collectible; Very Good/Very Good. 1898 1st edition, IN THE VERY UNCOMMON ORIGINAL DUSTJACKET. VG in its red cloth--with light staining at the foot of the panels-- and in a bright, VG- pictorial dustjacket, with chipping at the spine ends and panel tips (representing about 10-15% loss to the overall jacket). Still though, very presentable and, as an example of a 19th century dustjacket, very elusive. Light offsettting at the front and rear free endpapers.
