Defense published by Jose Bernardo de Tagle, Marques de Torre-Tagle, after being ousted from the presidency of Peru. Tagle was the second president of Peru, in office only from August 1823 to February 1824, at which point he was accused of conspiring with the royalist faction and removed from office by Simón Bolívar. Fewer than ten copies in OCLC. MEDINA, LIMA 3786.
