glens Falls, New York.: S.R. Stoddard.. 27th (Revised) Edition.. 1906.. Color folding map, sheet measuring 32 x 25 1/2 inches folding into cloth-covered boards 5 3/4 x 4 1/4 inches. There are separations at several fold intersections (five 1 inch separations along the upper fold, shorter separations at a few other folds), but overall the map is in very good condition, clean and sharply delineated. A handsome map with much fascinating detail compiled by Seneca Ray Stoddard. This is noted on the map as the 27th Rev. Edition. Engraved and printed by Louis E. Newman & Co. NY. Bottom left is a table offering “Explanations” of various markings on the map including Rail Roads, Improved and Ordinary Roads, Carries, Trails, Air Line Distance from Mt. Marcy, Telegraph Offices, etc. A popular Stoddard map with a printing history dating to the late 1880s. .
