Philadelphia: Pomeroy & Beers, 1868. Unbound. Good. Maps of Brandywine Creek, Newport, and Brandywine Village in New Castle County, Delaware. 15 5/8" x 14 1/2". Engraved by Worley & Bracher of Philadelphia and printed by Fred Bourquin. Scale of the map is 100, 30, and 25 rods to the inch respectively. Maps contain directories of businesses. Map removed from a copy of Beers' 1868 Atlas of the State of Delaware, page 9. Brandywine Banks and Newport maps in color. Worn and tanned around edges, 1" closed tear at tail edge, short tears and curling on left edge from leaf being removed from atlas, light scattered foxing, a good example.
