Internally clean and bright, with neat ownership inscription to front flyleaf. Spine sunned, small watermark to front board, edges a touch dusty. A team of explorers, led by one of Doyle's greatest protagonists, Professor Maracot, discover the lost city of Atlantis. Fights with giant crustaceans and seduction of undersea women ensue, in an early example of the Shatneresque.
