Foil endpapers such as would be used to wrap margarine also have light wear. Brenda York was the pseudonym of Kathleen Hodgins, Canada Packers' first home economist. Margarine was legalized in Canada in 1948. Recipes tested by Chatelaine Institute. Recipes for soups, veggies, meat, egg and cheese dishes, deserts, breads. This is a Canadian cookery book featuring (according to the printer of the book - see Driver) the art of A.J. Casson, member of the iconic Canadian Group of Seven artists.
