Northland Press, Flagstaff AZ, 1979. Book. Very Good. Cloth. Signed by the Artist. First Edition.. 138 pages. Hardcover, bound in black cloth covered boards and wrapped in an illustrated paper dustjacket. Moderate wear to the edges and extremities of the dustjacket, with faint shelfwear to the lower edges of the boards. Signed by the artist with her Indian name, Maria Poveka, on the title page (Maria Martinez is apparently her Spanish name), and by her blind sister Clara Montoya on page 29. A 1983 letter from the Director of the School of American Research laid in at front, explaining both signatures. Aside from these signatures, there are no further interior markings. Texts in English. Illustrated..
