About This Item

London: Clarke, Beeton, 1853. New edition of the novel by the Rector of Wortham, near Diss. Very nicely rebound in marbled boards and dark-blue leather spine with gilt lettering and rules, 332pp, rough-cut edges with frontis of Norwich Castle and half-title vignette (by Cobbold?). Covers show virtually no wear, text bloc is solid with mild foxing, generally discoloured page edges, which are a little ragged in places and a few mild marks. But overall a VG copy. Ref:082493. New and improved Edition. Quarter Leather. VG/N/a. 11cmx18cm.
