With illustrated endpapers, frontispiece and 43 whimsical black and white drawings by Mary Shepard. 8vo, in the original publisher's green cloth, lettered in blue on the spine and pictorially decorated and titled in black on the upper cover with a picture of Mary Poppins herself. xi, 268 pp. A very good and handsome copy with mild overall soil to the cover. The papers are a bit mellowed and there is evidence of old damp to a 1/8 inch strip along the upper edge of most pages. THE SECOND OF EIGHT BOOKS IN THE MARY POPPINS SERIES, FIRST EDITION AND SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR. Sure to delight readers of all ages, the book is brimful of magic.
Synopsis
