Image measures 6 1/2" x 4 3/4"<br/> <br/> This full-length portrait depicts Italian physician and anatomist Paolo Mascagni (1755-1815), best known for publishing the first complete description of the lymphatic system. He is depicted seated at an examination table with a partially covered corpse. Mascagni is leaning with his left arm on the backrest, holding his right hand. This print is in excellent condition. It was engraved by Demarchi after T.T. Plate mark visible.<br/> <br/>
