1920. JAMES, Henry. MASTER EUSTACE. New York: Thomas Seltzer, 1920. First edition thus. 280pp. 12mo., green ribbed cloth, single-rule border and cross single-rules forming four panels in blind on front cover, lettered in gilt to spine; white end-papers. This is a very good and clean copy; ink ownership stamp to the ffep. The tattered remnant of the white dust jacket remains; it is soiled and sunned to spine, displaying a closed tear across the width of the upper panel, and is split at the front fold-in, etc. This volume contains the first American appearance in book form of four of the five tales contained within. (Edel A85.a; BAL 10707).
