This is the oldest book in my collection dating published in 1894 and appears to be the oldest
of other books with this title. Pages tight to spine. Religious book dedicated to the author's friend, Hon. Valentine Blurt Chamberlain. There are notes written in pencil with religious tones. It seems to me that
the reader made interpretation of what is in the book or a particular section. On page 17, I quote
"I have read many books. I have listened to may teachers. I have often felt the world is a tangled jungle
in which my guides had lost their way. I have had many friends, of whom, when some could not help me, when they would, a few would not help me when they could."
