Description:
Cambridge: Cambridge at the University Press, 1911. Cloth. Near Fine. 10.5" by 7". None. A very smart second edition of Jeans' mathematical theory of electricity and magnetism. Second edition. Scarce work. With figures and mathematical formulae throughout. A detailed study on the divisions of electromagnetism, with chapters on electrostatics and current electricity, magnetism, systems and conductors, and much more. Written by Sir James Hopwood Jeans, an English physicist, astronomer, and mathematician. Externally, very smart with light shelf wear to the extremities and fading to the spine.…
