First book by the Black American poet, founder in 1968 of the Natural Process Workshop in East Harlem which in the early 70s merged with the St. Marks Poetry Project, where Weatherly subsequently taught, while also working at the Strand Book Store. NY: Corinth Books, 1970. Perfect-bound in printed card wraps, 7-7/8 x 6 in. 47pp. With a black-and-white frontispiece portrait of the poet by Carolyn Weatherly. Near fine.

Unless otherwise requested, expedited domestic purchases ship via USPS Priority Mail; overseas orders via USPS First Class International. Heavy or oversized books may incur additional shipping charges, as may books shipped to overseas destinations. Any additional charges required will be communicated promptly.
We take safe shipping very seriously; all of our books are packaged in new cardboard boxes amply cushioned with biodegradable packing peanuts. Pamphlets and other flat materials items are ocassionally shipped in bubble-mailers with internal cardboard supports. All books with dust jackets are fitted with brand new archival protectors prior to shipping.
