Inscribed association copy of Henry Miller's novel.
Inscribed to Miller's Polish translator, Zygmunt Łanowski in 1950. Łanowski (1911-1989) was a Polish translator of English and Nordic languages who translated Miller's The Smile at the Foot of the Ladder (Uśmiech u stóp drabiny, 1964).
An article about George Dibbern's book, Quest is inserted in the book with hand-written note in French by Miller. The 6 pages long writing by Miller is a reprint from Circle Magazine from 1946.
