Berlin: Bruno Cassirer, 1914. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Liebermann, Max. Max Liebermann - Sein Leben und seine Werke. Original three quarter leather over cloth covered boards. Leather binding with wear and bottom corner bumped; spine showing some cracking as per picture. Binding tight, gutters intact, interior bright with no spotting. Prior dealer's pencil notations are the only markings. Frontispiece is full-page original etching of Max Liebermann's "Selbstbildnis,1913" protected by captioned tissue guard. With 547 pages, the text and contents are clean, with over 300 illustrations, mostly in black and white. Extra shipping costs as this is heavy and large.
