The angling text consists of "Extracts from the Common Place Book of the Houghton Fishing Club;" notes and advice on flyfishing for trout, principally on the river Test. First printed in 1833. Book plate of Edward Hine Johnson (b. 1854, Yale 1876, d. 1924). Refs: Westwood & Satchell 168. Frontis loose.
