London: Methuen & Co, 1948. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good+/Very Good. First edition, 1948, hardcover with blue cloth boards in dust jacket, octavo, 480pp., not illustrated. Book VG+ with mild wear to spine ends, binding tight, text clean and unmarked but toned throughout and showing faint staining to top edge of text block. DJ VG with edgewear that includes a few small tears, spine ends chipped, spine toned, now in archival mylar wrap.
