Paperback trade, very good condition, minor edgewear corners, loose red wraparound label (author's printed name). 221 pp. This novel by Arthur Upfield, initially published in 1933, was inspired by the strange death of the champion horse Phar Lap, the famous winner of the Melbourne Cup. (This is the scarce French language edition. Has loose red wraparound label, with 'Upfield' name in big letters.).
