(London: John Murray: 1830) First Edition. Cloth pp. xvi, 724 and 100 (Appendix and Index) (296 x 228 mm) Illustrated, including folding panoramic view and folding maps. All edges uncut. First Edition. Frontispiece (portrait) heavily foxed, and scattered foxing to other illustrations including maps. Cloth faded and extremities rubbed or worn. Upper external hinges cracked and front board detached as a result. Titling piece on spine at right hand edge, with some loss. Otherwise a good copy, and text generally very good.
