Volume 1, 382 pages, shows some fading and edge wear with spotting and scurffs, corners bumped, spine ends tattered with some chips in cloth, piece cut out of front free end paper, some foxing of interior pages with tanning, binding a little shaken.Volume 2, 581 pages plus advertising, shows some fading and edge wear with spotting and scurffs, corners bumped, spine ends tattered with some chips in cloth, piece of tape on spine, former owner's names on front free end paper in pencil and ink, interior pages a little foxed and tanned, binding a bit shaken.
