Clean, tight bookblock xxxi and 246 pages tekst and a selection of the woodcuts in Bewick's "Quadrupeds" and "Birds" on pages 248 -274
Extra; bookplate from previous owner Sir Edgar Wigram, Bt. on inner board and inscription "Edgar T. A. Wigram from his very loving mother H.M. Wigram ???? 1924" on first blank page.Sir Edgar Thomas Ainger Wigram (6th Baronet) was born on 23 November 1864 and died in 1935. He was also known for his beautiful watercolour paintings and the book "Northern Spain, Painted and Described by Edgar Thomas Ainger Wigram".
The Wigram Baronetcy, of Walthamstow House in the County of Essex, is a title in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom.
