Very good, light wear to joints, small scar to front cover of volume three of Travels, moderate foxing to endpapers and preliminaries, otherwise near fine, tight and unmarked. . 12mo., 20x12.5 cm.. The travels and memoirs of the famous eccentric English woman traveler in Syria, Palestine and Lebanon, in six uniformly bound volumes. Included is a good copy of the 1928 Viking edition of Martin Armstrong’s biography of Stanhope. Heavy set, will require extra shipping. weight: 7.8 lb. Engraved frontispieces, frontis is hand-colored in volume one of Memoirs.
