Two volumes bound in contemporary half dark brown morocco over marbled boards, five broad raised bands with gilt lettering back, marbled end papers and edges, an engraved frontispiece portrait of Siddons in Vol. 1. Very Good, light rubbing at edges and joints, marginal dampstain bottom corner first 75 pp. of Vol. I not affecting text, period bookplates of James McDonald with the inscription "Nec Tempore Nec Fato". A handsome set, well bound in signed Morrell binding, internally quite nice, and rather uncommon in collectible condition. . . Second British Edition. Half Morocco. Very Good/No Jacket, As Issued. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
