About This Item

Boston: Alfred Mudge & Son. Fair with no dust jacket. 1901. First Edition. Hardcover. Binding is mostly cracked before the contents page. Rear inner hinge is a bit weak. Covers have what looks like a streak of glue residue on the rear, slight wear to the outer corners and spine ends, and a few touches of very slight rubbing. One plate is detached but present. Two pages have tears from the outer edges into the text. Two pairs of pages were somewhat roughly opened. Front and rear blank pages are browned. Pages have slightly browned edges and a few widely scattered brown smudges. .
