GB: Simpkin, Marshall, 1884. Original grey-brown cloth, gilt. Label, stamp or embossed stamp of owner at start of book. Fairly clean tight text but some spotting to early and late leaves. Some pencilling in text and pencil notes on blank at end regarding Gaskell of Thornes House. Front hinge heavily cracked. Covers and spine sound a d quite clean. Book is in good double plus condition with noticeable signs of wear and/or age. . 1st Edition. Hardback. G++/No DW.
