This copy inscribed by Buffalo Bill Cody, "With the compliments / of the subject / W.F. Cody / Buffalo Bill / To E. Drake 1904." Some slight chipping to cover; spine faded; some light foxing; o/w Very Nice. Scarce.

Binding of this large heavy book is surprisingly solid although some mild cracking. No writings. Chipping to spine heel. All plates present and in very good or better condition, containing well over one hundred illustrations. Important historical and genealogical reference. The author Gilbert was a resident of Walla Walla, Washington and a noted historian. Illustrated by Alfred Burr whose sketches depict properties and landscapes of Walla Walla County.
