Volume I only (of 2), octavo roan spined marbled boards (spine damaged but covers still attached/tips worn/rubbed) viii +457pp +10pp of adverts. Society label with list of members requesting the book be sent to them in rotation dated between 1853-1854. Blindstamp coat of arms of F. Bartelot F.S.A. Portrait with slight pale foxing else clean and neat. *This volume deals with 1782-1788 & has much on Irish affairs, India & the King's illness and regency. Based on first hand documents of the protagonists - fine primary source for this period.
