Messages from the shore by Victor B Scheffer - 1977

Pacific Search Press. Used - Good. Good condition. A copy that has been read but remains intact. May contain markings such as bookplates, stamps, limited notes and highlighting, or a few light stains.

This book appears to have been stored under something heavy and got a little damp while there. The indentation and bend can be seen in photos 2 and 3. The water stain, which I have attempted to show in photo #9, serendipitously landed in the generally blank space at the top edge at the spine. It appears to miss all the text and only scores a glancing blow on a couple of the photographs, to no detriment. Photographs on most pages, many accompanied with brief essays on the subjects. The book is a tribute to the beauty, shapes and patterns of the seashore, with a serious thought towards preservation and conservation. This appears to be a rare book, priced lower here because of the damages mentioned above.
