London: HMSO, 1940. Hardback. Good/No Jacket. 655 8vo. Stamp of Officer Commanding 7?5 (T.T.) Squadron H.M.S. "Jackdaw", dated 2 August 1941, to front paste down. HMS Jackdaw in 1941 was a Royal Naval Air Station at Crail, Fife. Light blue cloth-covered boards, black titles to spine, 278 pages plus stapled booklet, "Instructions on the Preparation of Weather Maps" (and a two-page supplement) in pocket at rear. Some illustrative weather maps in colour. Condition notes: Boards soiled and bumped, spine strip worn, title page modified in pen, general age-tanning to pages, end papers spotted. Binding firm, pages unmarked.

Plates are bright and clear. Hinges are cracked with exposed netting. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Loss to paper cover at spine ends and rear joint. Board has minor damp and dust stains.
