About This Item

London: Readers Library, 1927. First British Edition & Photoplay Edition (first state) issued to coincide with the British release of the silent film science fiction classic directed by Fritz Lang starring the beautiful Brigitte Helm. Tiny bit of the upper right hand corner of the front free endpaper lacking, minor sliver missing at the bottom read of the rear endpaper else very good in an excellent facsimile dust jacket. The front panel of the dust jacket shows a color painting of the striking robot and the rear panel shows the futuristic city.
