Leo Daly contributes an interview with Joyce: Mullinger Re-visited. Daly makes a lovely personal inscription on the title page. Laid in is ANS with 1979 airmail envelope from Ireland, saying that the package (this pamphlet) was sent by overland mail and might take some time, etc. Laid in is a long typed letter on legal lined paper with two punched holes, from Leo Daly, pleasantly surprised to get the addressee's letter, etc. Mention is made ou"our evening together in the James Joyce; chatting about return travelsm etc. Typed signature. Then a hand written postscript, signed Leo, including "After all , you are the only persons I know who dined with Sam Beckett. Here in Ireland that is really something...." ; 46 pages; Signed by Contributor .

There we were stewards and renewers of a decorative Queen Anne Victorian. On Cape Cod since 1969, we take care of the newest (1860) Crocker family home in Barnstable's village of Cotuit: a tall peaked Italianate now painted pink and four other colors. The owner's training has included work in four libraries and apprenticeship with the Irving Ephraim (1908) - 1989) who began his own career during the depression. Assistants have always known the meaning of "book person." Remembering with fondness Mr. E. and the enormous influence of our home town librarians, we try to continue their tradition of service.
