First edition thus: tipped-in colour frontispiece and 39 mounted colour plates by Arthur Rackham, all with captioned tissue guards; also numerous black and white illustrations. Quarto. pp [vi], 134. Pictorial cloth gilt.Near-contemporary (1911) gift inscription on front free endpaper. One or two small flecks of foxing here and there. Some tanning to free endpapers. Light spotting to spine. Very good indeed in the scarce dustwrapper which is a bit rubbed and darkened at the spine, nicked at the edges, and with closed tears to the folds at the joints. A bright copy.
