Heinemann. London. 1929. REPRINT RACKHAM EDITION. 4to. (9.7 x 7.2 inches). Colour frontis and thirty nine tipped-in colour plates, each with a printed tissue paper guard. Thirty black and white illustrations, some full page, throughout the text. A lovely clean copy. Small crease to the bottom corner of the frontis plate otherwise a very good copy, Finely bound, for Henry Sotheran of London, in recent full dark brown Levant Morocco. Spine with raised bands, the compartments ruled in blind and lettered in gilt. Marbled endpapers. Decorative gilt border roll on the inside of the boards. All edges gilt. Original blue cloth spine and both boards bound in at the back. A fine copy of this beautiful book. Rackham at his very best.
