Signed and inscribed by author on front free endpaper: "To my old friend ---, with all good wishes. Dick O'Malley." Bumping to spine edges. Jacket, with original $6.95 price, shows moderate to heavy edge wear, small closed tears and chipping. The classic memoir of growing up in the mining world of Butte, of which publisher Russell Chatham (in his 2004 Clark City Press reprint) wrote, "If you want to read only one book, hoping to finish it with a fairly comprehensive understanding of Butte, Montana, you are holding it now."
