Philadelphia: Commandery of the State of Pennsylvania, 1902. Hardcover. Small 4to. Blue cloth with gilt front board lettering/medallion and black border. 306pp, 18pp index. Top edge gilt. Blue floral endapers. Very good. Faint binding edgewear, else tight and internally fine. Quite tight and attractive first edition of this compilation of biographical data for a staggering 2400 (+ two stragglers) soldiers from all branches of the U.S. military. A lovely copy with bright gilt -- and laid in is an 8vo 4pp MOLLUS leaflet, Circular No. 8 dated Philadelphia, 19 April 1919.
