Hutchinson & Co. Ltd, 1952. Hardcover. Good. 1952. First Edition Reprint. 591 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Pages are mostly clear with light tanning to free endpapers and text block edges. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper, with water drops and a few small nicks along text block edge. Cracking to hinge, with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with notable bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Light tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is darkened. Blue pencil mark on front board.
