By Anna Katharine Green Author of The Filigree Ball, The Leavenworth Case, Etc. With Illustrations by Arthur I. Keller. Indianapolis, The Bobbs-Merril Company, Publishers, January 1905. Half-title not called for; half-tone frontispiece with tissue guard, and five plates; title-page printed in red and black; blank, followed by 18pp. integral advertisements at end (on text-paper and the first leaf forming a title to the rest); green fine-dotted-line-ribbed cloth, blocked gilt and red, lettered gilt-outlined red, and red, on front cover, lettered gilt on spine. Minute restoration to cloth at tail of spine (a 2mm strip), and front end-paper lacking; one opening spotted in margins; a few small corners creased; in general effect, however a very nice copy.
