G. P. Putnam's Sons, NY, 1954. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good -/Good -. Signed. SIGNED, without inscription, by R. G. Lynch on the front endpaper. Additionally, SIGNED by first baseman Joe Adcock, also on the front endpaper. The volume is rubbed with light abrasions on the edges. The dust jacket has shallow clips on three of the flap corners (but not the top front where the price of $3.50 is intact), is deeply spine sunned, chipped on the edges (to a maximum depth of 1" at the top of the spine and rear joint), and has many closed tears, some soiling and small thin strips of edge reinforcing tape on the outside of the jacket.
