Coeur d'Alene, Idaho: Bureau of Land Management, 2002. Paperback. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7?" - 9?" tall. Paperback in Very Good Condition. Stapled Binding. Frontis: Map of the Area. Clean and completely unmarked. Mineral Riodge was the first recreation site developed by the BLM in Idaho. Construction began in 1963 and the Trail was complete and designated as a National Recreation Trail April 13, 1982. The plant and animal communities are used by local school districts for environmental education. (I do not know if this continues today). There are two main sections: the first is a guide to the trail. There are 22 stations along the trail marked with narrative descriptions in this booklet. The second section is supplemental informstion such as lists of plants and animals found on MIneral Ridge Trail. They are designed as checklists to keep a record of species found. There is also a glossary of Mineral Ridge place names that highlight the area's mining history. 38 pages. 5.5 x 8.5 inches. 2002, U.S.Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management, Idaho
