About This Item
Octavo/8vo, measures around 9" by 6" by 1 3/8". Crimson cloth binding, embossed emblem to front board, black edging to boards and spine, gilt lettering and edging to spine. A little marking and some scuffing to binding with a little discolouration to spine and upper area of rear board but quite clean and colouring still reasonably vivid, a little tearing to head and tail of spine. Signs of wear, rubbing at edges and on hinges. Bumped and slightly torn corners. Some slackness to binding but pages reasonably tight. Page edges browned, scuffed, a little tanned and a bit marked but reasonably clean for age. Some marking to endpapers, previous owner inscription to half-title page. The odd mark to page surfaces, a little marginalia to a few pages. See pictures for further information.
