Embossed silver boards with red accents are rubbed at edges and head/foot of spine, slightly shaken but binding is tight. One tear at head of spine. Interior is clean, no signatures or writing. Abbey's photo appears three times as editor of the Thunderbird, the literary journal of the University of New Mexico. The March 1951 issue of The Thunderbird resulted in its suspension after Abbey published a piece on anarchy and attributed a Diderot quote, "Man will never be free until the last king is strangled with the entrails of the last priest," to Louisa May Alcott.; Book; 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall .
