About This Item
NY: Macmillan, 1899. First Edition . Hardcover. Second printing (October 1899) of the first US edition, very good in original dark green cloth with four color illustration of a castle on a cliff on the front board. Front endpaper is missing, and somehow the word "Miranda" appears to be missing near the top of the title page. "270" written in ink on both the front pastedown and the title page. Fairly tight, with the outside being clean and the gilt fairly bright, this copy looks nice on the shelf.
