London: Diadem Books, 1983. First Edition . Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. Sheridan Anderson. 1983 FIRST PRINTING UK. SIGNED by Jim Perrin on title page. Original navy boards, gilt lettering spine. Book is in near fine condition with very minor rubbing tips corners, tiny spot lower text block edge, no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, solid binding, no foxing. Original dust jacket has slight fading upper edge rear panel, tiny loss upper outside corner tips, complete with original price printed on front flap corner. The book measures 223mm tall x 137mm, and has 688 pages, 12 color & 47 b/w photos, index. Excellent collection drawn from magazines & journals follows up on the popular anthology, The Games Climbers Play. Mostly non-fiction accounts covering climbing worldwide. Cartoons in the book are by Sheridan Anderson. A thick volume that will outlast most storms not in high latitudes. PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL BOOK BEING OFFERED.
