London:: Thomas Tegg & Son; Griffin - Glasgow; Tegg, Wise - Dublin,, 1835.. First printing of this edition.. Hardcover. Very Good. [vi], 325; x, 341; x, 341; vi, 346; plus a frontis to each vol. Ownership name to front pastedown of each, that in Vol 1 partially crossed out. Contents clean with occasional foxing. Bindings firm, 18x11cms. Vols II - IV are in contemporary dark green cloth with printed labels, Vol I is in a slightly darker cloth and plain boards, with some wear to the corners and a nick to the fore-edge. Labels soiled and chipped, spine ends crimped. Minor repair to upper joint of Vol IV. Uncommon. A good little set. [Heavy Item]
