F R S Yorke was a Modernist architect and founder member of the MARS Group (Modern Architectural Research Group). 'The Modern House' was first published in 1934 and contains a study of twentieth century Modernist architecture the details of a number of Modernist buildings from around the world. Illustrated with photographs and plans. Condition: This copy is in good plus condition for age.
